His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein had directed the government during his sponsorship of the government's executive program launch for the years (2026-2029) at the Prime Minister's House, to increase the financial allocations earmarked for the University Student Support Fund in the budget of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the aim of increasing the number of male and female students nominated to benefit from internal scholarships and loans for the current academic year 2025-2026.

The Cabinet had previously decided to allocate the proceeds from the sale of all special license plates, sold at public auction through the Driving and Vehicles Licensing Administration, to support the University Student Support Fund. This decision aims to enhance transparency and expand the segment of benefiting students.
The ministry added that (47) districts out of (56) districts in the kingdom have included all students at the associate diploma level in the scholarships and loans program at a rate of (100)%, while (46) districts out of (56) districts in the kingdom have included all students at the bachelor’s level in the scholarships and loans program at a rate of (100)%.
Moreover, (11982) students who met the conditions to benefit from the University Student Support Fund, and are beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund, have been included in the scholarships and loans at a rate of (100)%. Additionally, (7661) students who met the conditions to benefit from the University Student Support Fund, and are beneficiaries of the Royal Decree for teachers’ children, who have not previously benefited from it, have been included in the scholarships and loans at a rate of (100)%. The ministry concluded its announcement by stating that all students from the central north at the first year level and studying in southern universities, and who met the conditions for benefiting, have been nominated to receive full scholarships at a rate of (100)%.
This announcement comes after the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research made utmost efforts in studying and addressing all the electronic objections submitted by students to achieve the highest levels of accuracy and fairness. Students can enter the special website of the Directorate of Scholarships to review the results through the link: www.dsamohe.gov.jo
In pursuit of applying the highest standards of transparency, each student can access their data and information, along with the points calculated for them, as well as the names and points of other students nominated for these scholarships and loans in the district where the student competes. These results are final, and the ministry will not accept any objections to them, as the objection period has already been opened previously.
The ministry also assures that the students who have been nominated to receive full or partial scholarships, or loans, must undergo certain procedures through the aforementioned website to complete and confirm their receipt of these scholarships and loans, starting from February 15, 2026, and otherwise, the student will be considered as having declined the scholarship/loan.
