College of Aviation Sciences at Arab Amman University Participates in the First Jordanian Aviation Future Forum

Khaberni  - Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of Arab Amman University, the College of Aviation Sciences participated in the "First Jordanian Aviation Future Forum" organized by the Jordan Engineers Association, under the sponsorship of His Excellency Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin, Minister of Transportation, and in the presence of Engineer Abdullah Ghosheh, President of the Jordan Engineers Association. Representatives of Arab Amman University included Professor Dr. Malek Al-Salem Al-Anaqreh, Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hasban, Head of the Aircraft Maintenance Department, Dr. Bashar Badr, a faculty member, and the students of the College of Aviation Sciences at Arab Amman University, with significant participation from academic institutions, aviation companies, and related entities.

The forum witnessed an active participation by Dr. Al-Hasban in preparing the strategic study about the future of aviation in Jordan until 2035, during which the results of this study were reviewed. This contributed to outlining the future development trajectories of the national aviation sector. The students of the College of Aviation Sciences and students from the Aerospace and Electronics Community (AESS) - Arab Amman University branch, led by student Mohammad Abu Amsha and supervised by Dr. Bashar Badr, participated in the forum activities, which included an opening session and several specialized dialogue sessions that discussed topics such as drones, aviation academies, Type Rating programs, alongside aircraft technology and manufacturing. The forum opened the floor for student discussions, providing them with the opportunity for direct interaction with specialists and experts, which enhanced their knowledge and connected theoretical aspects with practical applications in the aviation sector.

In this context, Dr. Al-Anaqreh emphasized the importance of involving students in specialized events in the aviation sector that contribute to supporting graduates and expanding their professional horizons, and enhancing strategic partnerships with the Jordan Engineers Association and related entities. This directly impacts the sharpening of students' skills and aligns academic education outputs with the evolving demands of the job market. During the forum, Al-Anaqreh also presented an overview of the specialties offered by the College of Aviation Sciences at Arab Amman University, including Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Electronics, and Aviation Management, affirming the college's commitment to developing its academic programs to meet international standards and serve the national development directions in the aviation sector.

This participation stems from Arab Amman University's commitment to enhancing the practical and knowledgeable aspects of its students, directly connecting them with the future directions of aviation in Jordan, thus preparing qualified cadres capable of keeping up with sector developments and dealing with its future challenges.
