The Southern Military Region, last evening, thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs via a drone on its western front, in coordination with military security forces and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Engagement rules were applied after it was spotted by the border guards, resulting in the drone being shot down inside Jordanian territory, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities.
