Khaberni - The Jordanian Engineers Association has launched its new application JEA along with the website in its new version, as part of the digital transformation plan adopted by the council of the association to develop the services provided to engineers, enhance institutional performance efficiency, and improve the service recipients’ experience.
The launch of the application and the updated website is part of an integrated vision announced by the council of the association to facilitate access to various services and enable engineers to perform their transactions electronically via mobile phones at any time and from any place, without the need to visit the association branches, thereby saving time and effort and reducing bureaucratic procedures.
Eng. Abdullah Asem Gosheh, the head of the Jordanian Engineers Association, confirmed that this launch represents an advanced stage in the comprehensive digital transformation path aiming at developing digital services, enhancing their efficiency, bolstering performance speed, improving security levels, and ease of access to information which positively reflects on engineers' experience with the association's services.
Gosheh indicated that the JEA application and the updated website feature a simple and clear user interface, which allows transactions to be completed within seconds with specific and easy steps, and the possibility of using digital services around the clock from any location to meet the requirements of engineers and keep up with technological advancements.
The JEA application consolidates various services of the association into a unified digital platform, where engineers can track their requests submitted to the association, apply for membership, issue and renew membership cards, issue experience certificates, add professional experiences in addition to health insurance services which include renewing the subscription, viewing coverage caps and medical details of the insured, reducing the need for in-person visits or contacting to inquire about basic information.
The JEA application provides retirement services, enabling subscribers and retirees to inquire about their financial status, view their personal data, follow up on inquiries, and submit retirement-related applications easily and conveniently, in addition to providing access to the training center services, viewing various trade union activities and events, and registering and participating in them electronically.
Engineers can download the JEA application now available on the electronic application stores Google Play for Android devices and App Store for iOS devices.
It is worth mentioning that the first phase of electronic services includes the launch of 29 services, while more electronic services will be added to the application in the coming period and in stages.
