Khaberni - Petra University President, Professor Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim, met with the university sports delegation before the start of their participation in the winter sports session organized by the Sports Federation for Jordanian Universities in Aqaba city.
Rahim affirmed the university’s commitment to harnessing its capabilities to support student athletes and ensuring an honorable participation, adding that their participation in the session celebrates the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and reflects the spirit of excellence and belonging among the students.
The sports delegation departed on Sunday morning to the city of Aqaba, including seventeen male and female students, alongside supervisors from the sports activities department. The delegation participates in soccer, basketball, and beach volleyball tournaments.
Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Eyad Malah, praised the continuous support from the university's administration for sports activities, stating that engaging in extracurricular activities has a positive impact on building the comprehensive personality of the student.
