Khaberni - The Russian Federal Security Service announced the arrest of the person who attempted to assassinate the Russian officer Vladimir Alekseev, noting that in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the identities of his accomplices were determined.
The Federal Security Service stated that, in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Interior, as a result of operational investigative actions carried out in the context of the criminal case opened by the Russian Investigative Committee regarding the assassination attempt on Vladimir Alekseev, it managed to identify the accomplices in this crime, who are the Russian citizens Viktor Vasin born in 1959 who was arrested in Moscow and Zenida Serebrytskaya born in 1971 who fled to Ukraine.
It added that with the help of partners from the UAE, the Russian citizen Lyubomir Korba, born in 1960, who was the direct executor of the crime, was arrested in Dubai and handed over to the Russian side.
It added that the search for the planners of the crime is still ongoing.
