Khaberni - Ami Ben Dror, the former head of the security team for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, revealed a series of ethical and behavioral scandals involving Netanyahu and his family, especially his wife Sara whom he described as obsessed with stealing.
Dror, in an interview with the Hebrew newspaper "Maariv" published on Friday, said he joined the personal protection unit the day after the assassination of Netanyahu's predecessor, Yitzhak Rabin, and worked with subsequent leaders Shimon Peres, Ehud Barak, and opposition leaders.
He added that Netanyahu was never an ethical person and would dine in restaurants without paying, forcing guards and aides to cover the bill.
Ami Ben Dror continued, saying, "One time, he went to a French restaurant in the King David Hotel in Jerusalem and the food bill was steep. After he failed to pay once, the restaurant manager prepared and brought the bill early, but Netanyahu ignored it again, and did not pay, forcing one of the guards to handle the matter from his own money."
He stated that Netanyahu's behavior was systematic and not sporadic, describing him as "garbage at the value level," noting that the position "exacerbated these behaviors in him and his family and the circle around him."
Politically, I think it was acceptable at times, but the current situation is disastrous.
"Kleptomania"
Regarding Sara, Netanyahu's wife, Dror mentioned that she suffers from "kleptomania" (a pathological obsession with stealing).
He said she is obsessed with stealing hotel towels and the gifts given to Netanyahu as the head of government, which belong to the state, she steals those as well.
The former head of security noted that Sara is an evil woman and Netanyahu pushed her to the forefront to turn her into a character resembling Hillary Clinton, but she is not like that.
He confirmed in his statements to the Hebrew newspaper that she is the center of gravity in Netanyahu's house, explaining that in recent years she was behind stopping a plea bargain deal to remain in a position of power, and believing that Yair, Netanyahu's son, would politically inherit from his father.
The son assaults his father
The former head of security disclosed details about Yair's assault on his father, Benjamin, which was previously revealed by the Hebrew press and denied by the prime minister, saying the incidents were harsh and required intervention by the security team.
He added, "Yair Netanyahu assaulted his father Benjamin... He didn't use karate moves, but the assault required intervention... and that's what happened."
He pointed out that the assault incident was the reason behind sending Yair to Miami in America.
Netanyahu's daughter from his first wife
He also revealed details regarding Netanyahu's daughter called Noa, who is from his first wife.
He reported that Noa estranged her father due to his behavior, noting that Netanyahu was secretly smuggled to meet his daughter and grandchildren in the cafes of occupied Jerusalem between 1996-1999, before those meetings stopped.
He stated that the cessation of meetings between Netanyahu and his daughter "does not indicate normal father behavior."
Ami Dror expressed hope that Netanyahu would be thrown in prison driven by justice and not revenge.
