Khaberni - Computer simulation data in Arab weather suggests that the shape of the weather systems affecting the region in the coming few days will take an unusual curve, as the activity of weather depressions and the momentum of cold air masses and polar impulses continue to concentrate in the western and central Mediterranean and northwest Africa.
This weather situation leads to the influx of warm air currents coming from northeastern Africa towards Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine, carrying air masses with higher temperatures than usual for this time of year and laden with quantities of dust.
Relatively warm and dusty weather expected in the coming days, God willing
According to forecasts, temperatures will rise in the coming days (Sunday, Monday, and until Tuesday) to be about 7 to 9 degrees Celsius higher than the usual rates for this time of the year, where the weather will be relatively cold in the morning hours, then moderate during the noon and afternoon, with a tendency to heat in the areas of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Additionally, southwesterly winds, especially during the afternoon and evening hours on an almost daily basis, will stir up dust and sand in desert areas and raise dust concentrations in cities at varying levels, coinciding with the appearance of medium and high clouds intermittently.
Temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius in some parts of the Jordan Valley
It is expected, God willing, that the influence of these warmer-than-usual air currents will lead to maximum temperatures surpassing the mid-twenties Celsius in most areas of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, approaching and perhaps exceeding the thirty-degree Celsius mark in parts of the southern Jordan Valley in particular, thus being much higher than usual for this time of the year, and closer to levels typically recorded during the spring season.
As for other regions and cities of the kingdom, including districts of the capital, Amman, maximum temperatures will range between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius, to be higher than their general averages by several degrees Celsius.
Nighttime temperatures higher than usual
In the same context, the rise is not limited to daytime temperatures only, as it is expected, God willing, that nighttime temperatures will also be higher than usual for this time of the year, whereby the weather at night will generally be relatively cold, and noticeably less cold compared to what the kingdom has experienced in the past few weeks, during the next three nights, God willing.
