Tareq Khoury after Faisalis defeat Start with someone else

Khaberni  - Former MP and former head of Al-Wehdat Club, Tareq Khoury, sent a message to some Faisali fans who were busy cursing him instead of cheering for their team – as he described - after Al-Wehdat's victory over Faisali in the top match of the round.

Khoury stated in a post on his personal Facebook page:

Didn't I tell you?

Do not start with me… Start with someone else…

To those from the Faisali club fans who have nothing but insults, I say,

And with all due respect to the respectable among the Faisali fans:

You were so engrossed in cursing me,

You forgot to follow the match or support your team…

With the absence of Al-Wehdat’s management at the training sessions and meeting the players,

I was forced to intervene personally,

And the result was a victory for Al-Wehdat ❤️💚

Thank you to the technical staff,

Thank you to the players,

And thank you to everyone who attended and supported from the audience,

And congratulations to us all.

Al-Wehdat clinches the classic match:

Al-Wehdat decided the classic match against Faisali on Saturday evening, winning by two clean goals.

The victory brought Al-Wehdat back into the race for the league title, and pushed Faisali away from the lead.

Al-Wehdat raised their points to 27, 4 points behind the temporarily leading Al-Hussein Irbid (31 points), while Faisali lost the league lead and moved to second place with 30 points.

The round’s matches will continue on Sunday, featuring an important encounter between Al-Baqa'a and Al-Ramtha, which might give the ‘Northern Gazelles’ the lead.
