Important for Jordanian Expatriates about Activating Sanad

Khaberni - The director of the «Sanad» platform, Mohammed Al-Batayneh, said that the platform has allowed Jordanian citizens residing outside the kingdom the ability to self-activate their accounts without the need to visit «Sanad» stations or personally come to Jordan, in a step aimed at facilitating expatriates' access to digital government services wherever they are.

Al-Batayneh clarified that the service includes citizens who hold personal IDs issued in recent years, including those issued over the past ten years since 2016, which a large number of Jordanians both domestically and abroad possess, confirming that this update expands the base of beneficiaries from the «Sanad» services and enhances the inclusiveness of digital transformation, according to Al-Rai newspaper.

He added that enabling expatriates to activate their accounts remotely contributes to reducing their burdens, saves time and effort, and allows them to conduct their government transactions electronically with ease and safety, without the hassle of traveling or reviewing service centers within the kingdom.

Al-Batayneh confirmed that the «Sanad» platform continues to develop its technical services and expand its scope, in line with the government's vision of digital transformation and improving the quality of services provided to citizens at home and abroad, and enhances users' trust in the platform and its adoption as a main channel for digital government services.
