Al Habtoor allocates 88 residential apartments for young Emiratis getting married

Khaberni - Businessman Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor announced the launch of a unique housing initiative to support young Emiratis getting married, stemming from his firm belief that the family is the core of society and the foundation of national stability, and that providing housing is the first step towards building a stable marital life.

The initiative includes the allocation of 88 residential apartments in «Al Habtoor Tower», for young Emiratis getting married, covering one, two, and three-bedroom units, to be the first home where the new family begins their life.

Al Habtoor pledged to bear approximately 70% of the cost of each residential unit from his own funds, with beneficiaries only paying 30%, along with repayment facilities extended up to five years, according to approved terms and conditions. The total value of the initiative is more than 270 million dirhams.

Al Habtoor confirmed that this initiative is not part of commercial real estate projects but comes within the framework of a practical human and social commitment aimed at eliminating one of the major obstacles facing young people when getting married, emphasizing that supporting young people must be translated into tangible initiatives that have a real impact on their lives.

Al Habtoor stressed that the real investment is in people, and that enabling young people to marry and build stable families reflects positively on society, economy, and social security in the long term.

This initiative adds to a series of community initiatives that Al Habtoor has launched over the past years in support of Emirati citizens and their empowerment to form a stable family, which included: supporting Emirati employees upon marriage, doubling the support upon childbirth, encouraging marriage and family building, active participation in national discussions about challenges facing the youth through community initiatives and dialogues, besides hosting mass weddings for young men and women.

Al Habtoor’s statement concluded by affirming that a strong family forms the basis for a cohesive society, and that supporting youth at the start of their lives is a shared responsibility, calling various parties to contribute to practical initiatives that enhance family stability and support the nation’s future.

It is worth mentioning that «Al Habtoor Group» was established in 1970 and is one of the most prominent and diverse business conglomerates in the Middle East.
