Khaberni - Cars belonging to the Saudi delegation participating in the International Book Fair held in Syria were stolen.
According to circulated information, the incident occurred simultaneously with the start of the exhibition, while the authorities have not yet issued any additional official details about the circumstances of the theft or measures taken against the thieves. Despite this, the activities of the fair continued normally amid broad Arab and foreign attendance.
The International Book Fair is considered one of the largest cultural events in the Arab world this year, with its current edition taking place from February 6 to 16 under the sponsorship of the Syrian Ministry of Culture and the Presidency. The fair witnesses participation from more than 500 publishers from 35 Arab and foreign countries, offering over 100,000 titles in various fields of knowledge.
