The Passing Claims Tunisian Soccer Star

Khaberni -   Former Tunisia national team, Esperance, and Stade Tunisien player Monder Msakni has died at the age of 65 following a sudden health crisis on Thursday.

The Tunisian platform Nessma reported that the deceased was a father to three sons, all of whom are soccer players: Youssef, Ehab, and Aziz Msakni. He experienced an emergency crisis and was subsequently taken to a clinic before his death was announced.

Msakni, the father of Tunisian star and captain of Esperance, Youssef Msakni, was one of the prominent players in the 1980s and early 1990s. He was one of the standout strikers at his home club Olympique before transferring to Esperance in 1992.

Born in Tunis in September 1960, Monder Msakni played for the Tunisian national team in more than 30 international matches, along with his experiences in major clubs in the Premier League.

The late player defended the colors of Olympique Transport, then Stade Tunisien, Esperance Sportive, and Club Sfaxien.

Many Tunisian clubs issued statements of condolence and mourning for Msakni, while the Tunisian Football Federation released a poignant statement mourning the former international player.
