19 bullets found in the body of Saif alIslam Gaddafi investigations ongoing

Khaberni - Sources on the Libyan parliamentary investigation committee reported that 19 bullets were found in the body of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, indicating the withdrawal of the guards from the residence an hour and a half before the operation was executed.

In the ongoing investigations to uncover the circumstances of his assassination, sources at the investigation committee clarified that “the committee determined Saif al-Islam Gaddafi’s time of death at 05:57 PM, according to technical data and accredited reports.”

According to investigations, "Saif al-Islam Gaddafi's phone was later found with his companion, Ahmed al-Ajmi al-Atri, without revealing so far why the phone was with him."

The sources confirmed that “the surveillance cameras inside Gaddafi's home were operating normally,” highlighting that they “were connected to the phone of a person residing outside of Zintan town, who is close to Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, and is currently under examination and investigation.”

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was killed in a controversial assassination operation, announced by his family on February 3rd, following his exposure to gunfire by unknown gunmen inside his house in Zintan, which caused widespread shock in Libya and beyond.

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Tripoli has officially opened an investigation into his assassination, confirming that he was killed by gunshot wounds, with ongoing investigations about the responsible party and motives.

Furthermore, on Thursday, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi's legal team urged the judicial authorities to take responsibility and expedite uncovering the truth about the crime of his assassination, stressing the necessity to handle the case with complete neutrality and to reveal the facts without any influence or pressure.
