Khaberni - As usual in stirring controversy, Dutch seismologist Frank Hoogerbeets published last Friday, a new warning of seismic activities that the Earth may experience in the coming days; however, this time he warned of a "surprise".
After reviewing the alignments of celestial bodies, which he calls "planetary geometry", during the current period and the possibility of these alignments affecting the Earth's crust in the form of earthquakes, the Dutch seismologist warned specifically of the conjunction of the Earth, Moon, and Jupiter during the period from February 13 to 15, when seismic activity could increase. He stated that there might be a "surprise". This was conveyed through a video he posted on his social media accounts.
Hoogerbeets said in the video clip from his regular newsletter: "I advise you to be very cautious from the 13th to the 15th of the month in anticipation of possible greater seismic activity, especially due to the conjunction of the Moon, Earth, and Jupiter." He added: "A surprise may occur," advising his followers to exercise caution during that period.
All scientists reject the controversial Dutch researcher's theories, considering them unscientific, firmly stating that there is no relation between the planets and the movement and activity of earthquakes on Earth, and that so far this matter is considered impossible.
The recent predictions made by Hoogerbeets regarding the possibility of a devastating seismic activity at the beginning of 2026 have caused a wide controversy and concern on social media platforms.
Despite the continuous attacks on him by geology and astronomy scientists, the Dutch seismologist insists on his theory that connects the movement of the planets and their relationship with the Earth and the seismic activities it experiences, which he called "planetary geometry" and its impact on Earth.
Dutch researcher Hoogerbeets chairs the "Solar System Geometry Survey" (SSGEOS), a research institution focused on monitoring the emerging geometry of celestial bodies and their relation to seismic activity on Earth.
His name began to shine with the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey in February 2023, killing over 50,000 people. He became famous at that time and his star rose when he said he had predicted that earthquake "three days before it occurred". His stardom soared from then on, as he began to predict and forecast earthquakes, both small and large, on his social media accounts, attributing these activities to the conjunctions of planets and their movements.
