Khaberni - On Saturday, the Jordanians commemorate the 27th anniversary of the Loyalty Day for the late, by God's leave, His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, God bless his soul, and the allegiance to His Majesty King Abdullah II.
On the Loyalty and Allegiance Day, Jordanians recount the journey of His Majesty King Hussein, the founder, over 47 years, and continue the path of renaissance and modernization under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, keeping Jordan a beacon of security, stability, and progress.
Since His Majesty King assumed his constitutional powers, the royal directives and initiatives have focused on improving the citizens' lives and enhancing the development process in the kingdom, particularly through the tracks of political, economic and administrative modernization in parallel, and increasing the capacity to face challenges.
Internationally, His Majesty the King cemented the Kingdom's efforts to enhance global stability, highlighted by numerous royal meetings and visits encompassing major global capitals in 2025, contributing to strengthening robust economic partnerships with brotherly and friendly countries.
As part of Jordan's responsibility toward its brethren, Jordan has continued to defend the issues of both the Arab and Islamic nations, especially the Palestinian cause.
On the Loyalty and Allegiance Day, the Presidents of the Senate and the House of Representatives spoke about the deep, solid relationship between the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people, based on loyalty, love, pride, and appreciation for national achievements.
President of the Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez, said that the one Jordanian family, as it commemorates the Loyalty and Allegiance Day, recalls a legacy filled with giving and achievements on the anniversary of the passing of the founding King Hussein bin Talal, a journey of pride and glory.
Al-Fayez added: "This journey continues in various fields under the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II, who carried the Hashemite banner with competence and high zeal, and continues the journey of building, development, and modernization in all its aspects, political, economic, and administrative, to build a Jordan capable of facing challenges with undying courage and determination."
And he added, saying: “We in the council are all proud and honored by His Majesty's efforts to consolidate Jordan's role on both Arab and international platforms, and the Senate will remain a strong support for His Majesty the King.”
He added that Jordanians on this day remember the continuous efforts and never-ending giving by our Hashemite kings for laying the foundations of progress and stability in our dear homeland and enhancing a renaissance based on strong and solid foundations.
President of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, said that the Loyalty and Allegiance Day represents a fundamental national milestone for renewing the pledge to His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Al-Qadi affirmed that Jordanians stand united behind His Majesty the King, drawing from his wisdom and steadfastness a path that enhances the homeland's security and stability, and protects its achievements amid the challenges facing the region and the world.
He added that this day embodies the deep and solid relationship between the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people, based on trust, loyalty, and love, and their joint efforts for a more prosperous future for Jordan, renewing the pledge to keep the House of Representatives a supporting and bolstering body for the reform and development journey led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
He affirmed that the visions of His Majesty the King and the high royal initiatives reflect the continuous work to improve the living standards of citizens and the reality of the services provided to them, continuing the achievements that have marked an exceptional case in a turbulent region, with wisdom and efforts His Majesty exerts alongside Jordanian men and women.
