The "iOS 26.3" version will make it easier for iPhone users to switch to Android devices, as it offers a new tool that allows the user to place an iPhone next to an Android device to wirelessly transfer photos, messages, notes, apps, and more. It is also possible to transfer phone numbers.
In the beta version of "iOS 26.3," the new tool can be found in the Settings app, under "General," then "Transfer or Reset iPhone," and "Transfer to Android."
Notification Redirection in the European Union
The "iOS 26.3" version in the European Union will introduce a notification redirection feature, in addition to a proximity pairing feature - similar to the AirPods pairing - for accessories such as earphones and smart watches.
Apple had to make these changes to comply with the European Union's Digital Markets Act.
