Khaberni - The Law Team at the Applied Sciences University has qualified for the global finals of the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition in English, held in 2026, organized by the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom in academic partnership with Columbia University in the USA, reflecting the high international level of the competition.

This qualification came after the team's participation in the continental rounds hosted by Ain Shams University in Cairo, with teams from Middle Eastern and North African countries, where the results approved by Oxford University showed the qualification of the Applied Sciences University team among the top four teams reaching the golden square, alongside the British University, Ain Shams University, and Cairo University.

The qualifying team from the college consists of the students: Asal Al-Jarjawi, Abdullah Sorour, Lian Fouda, and Slaf Al-Asaad, where this achievement was enhanced by the student Asal Al-Jarjawi receiving the award for the second-best advocate in the competition, reflecting the level of academic and professional preparation of the law students, and their ability to advocate and analyze legally according to the highest international standards.

This success was crowned by the students' winning the opportunity for “internship leading to employment” with Columbia University, presented as a prize to the members of the qualifying teams, which opens up international career prospects for them and enhances their practical experiences in one of the world's leading academic institutions.

The Applied Sciences University extends its deepest thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to facilitating the team's mission and supporting it, affirming its continuous commitment to supporting its students and enabling them to compete in international academic forums, with best wishes for more success and achievements in the final rounds to be held at the University of Oxford campus.
