Khaberni - Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, confirmed on Friday that the success of negotiations between the United States and Iran would make the region more secure.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed Riyadh's support for the ongoing talks regarding Iran, noting that everyone wants them to succeed.
The round of negotiations between the two countries concluded on Friday in Muscat.
Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi, received a negotiation plan from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, and handed it over to the U.S. special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Whitcov.
In a related context, Oman confirmed that it mediated indirect talks between the U.S. and Iran regarding Tehran's nuclear program, according to a statement by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on the social networking site "X".
The Omani statement noted, "The consultations focused on creating the appropriate conditions for resuming diplomatic and technical negotiations by emphasizing the importance of these negotiations in light of the parties' determination to ensure their success in achieving lasting security and stability."
