Khaberni - In the past few hours, leaked audio recordings have spread on "WhatsApp", attributed to the brother of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, in which he insults her and criticizes her using offensive language, causing a substantial controversy on social media about the reasons for the emergence of these leaks at this time, and who is behind them.
For his part, Counselor Yasser Kantoush, Sherine Abdel Wahab's lawyer, commented on the leaking of these audio recordings of the artist's brother, confirming that Mohamed Abdel Wahab is not behind these leaks. Rather, the leaker is a young man who was responsible for managing Sherine’s social media accounts, because he took control of them and a public prosecution decision was issued against him yesterday morning for an urgent trial as he tries to profit from them.
Kantoush confirmed that legal measures will be taken in this regard, adding that he knows who is behind the leak and stressing that it constitutes insult and defamation against the artist, and that no one who tries to harm her will escape legal punishment.
Sherine Abdel Wahab's lawyer takes legal action against those who offend her
In another aspect, Counselor Yasser Kantoush had previously announced that he is taking legal measures against the owners of some social media pages, who published offensive pictures of Sherine Abdel Wahab, appearing in an inappropriate manner, which greatly upset the artist. Consequently, she instructed her lawyer to take legal actions against the owners of these pages, to limit the offense against her.
Kantoush said: "Sherine Abdel Wahab is going through a difficult crisis, and her condition worsened when she saw inappropriate pictures of herself published on social media. Therefore, the artist decided to take legal action against the owners of these pages; as her appearance in the pictures affects her reputation and disturbs her entire family. Therefore, the artist insists on holding those who offend her accountable."
