Khaberni - Jordanians commemorate on Saturday, February 7th, the 27th anniversary of the Loyalty Day dedicated to the late, God willing, His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, may God sanctify his soul, and the pledge of allegiance to His Majesty King Abdullah II.
On the Loyalty and Allegiance Day, Jordanians reflect on the 47-year journey of His Majesty King Hussein, the founder, and continue the path of renaissance and modernization under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, keeping Jordan a beacon of security, stability, and progress.
Since His Majesty King assumed his constitutional powers, his high royal directives and initiatives have focused on improving the citizens’ life and enhancing the development process in the Kingdom, particularly through parallel paths of political, economic, and administrative modernization, and increasing the ability to face challenges.
On the international level, His Majesty King has solidified the Kingdom's efforts to bolster global stability. The year 2025 was marked by numerous royal visits and meetings, which included major global capitals and strengthened robust economic partnerships with brotherly and friendly nations.
Driven by Jordan’s responsibility towards its brethren, Jordan has continued to defend the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations, with the Palestinian cause at the forefront.
On the Loyalty and Allegiance Day, the Speakers of the Senate and the House of Representatives spoke about the profound relationship between the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people, based on loyalty, love, pride, and celebration of national achievements.
The Speaker of the Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez, said that as the Jordanian family commemorates the Loyalty and Allegiance Day, it recalls a rich journey of generosity and accomplishment on the anniversary of the passing of the founder King Hussein bin Talal, a journey of pride and dignity.
Fayez added: "This journey continues in various fields in the era of His Majesty the empowered King Abdullah II, who has competently and vigorously carried the Hashemite banner, and continues the journey of building, development, and modernization in all its political, economic, and administrative dimensions, building a Jordan capable of facing challenges with relentless courage and determination."
He added, saying: "We in the council are all proud and appreciative of his efforts aimed at consolidating Jordan's role on both Arab and international stages, and the Senate will remain a strong supporter of His Majesty the King."
He added that Jordanians remember on this day the continuous efforts and inexhaustible generosity of our good Hashemite kings, which have laid the foundations for progress and stability in our beloved country, and enhanced the renaissance based on solid and robust foundations.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, stated that the Loyalty and Allegiance Day marks a solid national station for renewing the covenant to His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Al-Qadi affirmed that Jordanians stand unified behind His Majesty the King, drawing from his wisdom and steadiness a path that enhances the security and stability of the nation, and protects its achievements amidst the challenges faced by the region and the realm.
He added that this day embodies the strong relationship between the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people, built on trust, loyalty, love, and working towards a more prosperous future for Jordan, renewing the pledge to remain a supporter and advocate of the reform and building process led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
He confirmed that the visions of His Majesty the King and the royal high initiatives continue to work on improving the standard of living of the citizens and the reality of the services provided to them, allowing the achievements to persist as an exceptional state in a turbulent region, with the wisdom and efforts of His Majesty alongside the Jordanian men and women.
