Khaberni - The veteran French star Karim Benzema made a historic start with his new team, Al Hilal Saudi.
Benzema joined Al Hilal last Monday in a sensational deal coming from his rival Al Ittihad, after terminating his contract by mutual consent, and played as a starter with "Al Zaeem" against Al Akhdood (Thursday), in the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League "Roshn League".
Benzema scored the first goal of the match after 30 minutes, exploiting a decisive pass from his teammate Nasser Al-Dawsari, to end the first half with Al Hilal leading by this goal.
The French star added the second and third goals in the 60th and 64th minutes, respectively, to complete the "hat-trick" within about half an hour in his first match wearing the Al Hilal shirt.
Benzema became the second player in Al Hilal history to score a hat-trick in his debut match with the team in the professional league, after his teammate Malcom achieved the same feat in 2023.
It is worth mentioning that the 38-year-old has increased his tally to 19 goals in the current season, after scoring 16 goals in 21 matches with Al Ittihad.
