Flamengo threatens Real Madrid Vinicius will return for free

Khaberni - Brazilian club Flamengo has confirmed that its doors will always remain open for the return of its former star, Vinicius Junior, a player at Spanish Real Madrid.

José Boto, Flamengo's football director, during the presentation of new arrival Lucas Paqueta, confirmed that the relationship with Vinicius was never interrupted and that he is welcome to return at any time.

Boto clarified that the club is closely monitoring Vinicius's situation with Real Madrid, noting that his current contract expires in June 2027, and no agreement has been reached regarding its renewal so far.

The website of the Spanish newspaper "Marca" quoted Boto as saying: His contract is nearing its end, and we will not have to pay anything to Real Madrid, hinting at the possibility of signing him for free at the end of the contract term.

Boto concluded his remarks, saying: The matter depends more on Vinicius Junior than on us.

On the other hand, the royal club prioritizes the renewal of Vinicius's contract as a top priority, where club president Florentino Perez refuses the departure of one of his team's key pillars without compensation. The current problem lies in the financial differences between the offer from Real Madrid and the demands of the player's representatives, which has temporarily halted the negotiations.
