Khaberni - Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, head of the Culture Support Fund, said: The fund focuses on supporting qualitative projects that have an impact on the community, cultural movement, and knowledge, which enhance the national cultural values.
According to a press release issued by the ministry today, Thursday, Al-Rawashdeh, while chairing the board meeting today at the ministry, called for directing support to cultural projects that utilize technology in specific areas, which are likely to develop cultural industries and boost the national production wheel.
During the meeting, the Minister of Culture highlighted the necessity of generalizing the "Scent of Colour" initiative to the cultural centers affiliated with the ministry in various provinces of the kingdom.
He explained that the initiative aims to enhance and highlight the creative works of the visually impaired in visual art, through field visits that directly address the needs of this group.
Al-Rawashdeh mentioned that the fund will start receiving support requests during the current year, according to the conditions set in the instructions for supporting cultural and artistic projects issued under Article (9) of the Cultural and Artistic Movement Support Fund System of 2008 and its amendments.
The meeting also discussed designs submitted by students of the German Jordanian University to select one as the official logo for the fund.
