Khaberni - The Amman Chamber of Industry signed, on Monday, contracts to benefit from incubator services with five entrepreneurial and startup projects characterized by technical nature, at the chamber's building, as part of the project "Empowering Small and Medium Industries through Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies", implemented in cooperation with the Jordanian Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) and InJo4.0 Future Mastery Center, and supported by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply, aiming to implement several initiatives and projects that serve the digital transformation and the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, therefore fulfilling the Economic Modernization Vision initiatives.
The incubation services program is part of the project's operational plan aimed at supporting and empowering industrial and technical entrepreneurial projects to develop innovative solutions that address real challenges faced by the Jordanian industrial sector, contributing to enhancing digital transformation and Fourth Industrial Revolution applications, in line with national directions towards building a knowledge and technology-based economy.
The incubation program offers a comprehensive package of non-financial support, including mentoring and technical guidance, specialized technical support, access to facilities and technical laboratories, as well as support in developing prototypes and concept proofing, tailored to the stage and needs of each project.
The program lasts six months, during which the incubated projects go through several phases starting with planning and idea study, through the development and implementation phase, and finally to market readiness, with regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure the achievement of the desired goals.
The Amman Chamber of Industry confirmed that the selection of beneficiary projects came after a public call and a precise technical evaluation according to clear criteria and under the supervision of a specialized committee, noting that the program represents one of the practical tools to enhance the industrial entrepreneurship ecosystem and support innovation in the Jordanian industrial sector.
