Khaberni - Egyptian security arrested a young man who appeared in a widely shared video on social media platforms, offering drugs to a tourist in Luxor governorate.
After monitoring the video, security forces formed a team to search for and track the young man involved in the incident, and investigations were successful in identifying him and he was arrested.
Security forces found a quantity of hashish in the possession of the suspect, prepared for distribution, which confirmed the validity of what was shown in the circulated video and revealed his usual criminal activity.
In front of the investigating authorities, the suspect detailed his commitment to the incident, confirming that he tried to exploit his delivery to the tourist to offer him drugs with the intention of making quick profit.
The suspect was referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office to begin the investigation.
