Khaberni - Argentine Mauro Icardi, striker of Galatasaray, has topped the list of the best foreign scorers in the history of the Turkish club.
Icardi scored a goal that put Galatasaray ahead against their guest, Istanbul Spor, in the Turkish Cup on Wednesday.
The official account of the club posted on the platform "X" that Icardi has become the club's all-time top foreign scorer with 73 goals, surpassing the former Romanian star Gheorghe Hagi.
Hagi played for Galatasaray from July 1996 until his retirement in 2001, where he scored 72 goals and provided 63 assists in 192 matches.
The Turkish club posted on "X" a blog showcasing the historic achievement of Icardi (32 years old) who has been with the team since the summer of 2022.
