Khaberni - The national Paralympic teams harvested 8 medals (5 golds, 2 silvers, and a bronze), with the commencement of their participation in the 5th West Asia Paralympic Games, held in the Omani capital, Muscat.
Player Ahmed Hindi succeeded in winning two gold medals in the discus throw and javelin throw competitions, while Mohammed Al Mahdi won two golds in the 800 meters and 1500 meters races, and Nasser Al Muqabalah added a gold in the 200 meters race.
Khaled Abu Nahleh also won a silver medal in the 400 meters race, while badminton recorded a historical first Jordanian participation, crowned by player Musab Al-Tawalbeh with a doubles silver and a singles bronze.
