Khaberni - Minister of Finance Dr. Abdel Hakim Al-Shibli met IMF President Kristalina Georgieva, on the sidelines of the tenth Public Finance Forum in Arab Countries held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within the events of the World Government Summit.
During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between Jordan and the International Monetary Fund were discussed. IMF President Kristalina Georgieva tweeted on the platform "X" that the meeting with Minister of Finance Dr. Abdel Hakim Al-Shibli was extremely fruitful, noting the discussion of the Fund's support for the Jordanian economic reform program, which enhances the national economy's resilience in facing challenges, supports private sector-led growth, and positively reflects on various segments of the Jordanian society.
This meeting is part of the ongoing coordination and consultation between the Jordanian government and the International Monetary Fund, contributing to financial and economic stability and enhancing the path of structural reforms aimed at stimulating sustainable growth.
