Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority detected an illegal well in Al Jafar/Al Shaibah, 300 meters deep, based on information provided to the Internal Monitoring Directorate in coordination with relevant authorities. The well was then filled in, and the necessary records prepared, with ongoing efforts to complete the investigation and refer the matter to the judicial authorities.
According to a statement from the ministry, violations were detected involving the filling of non-compliant tanks from domestic water lines in the Na'ur/Umm Al Basateen area. In coordination with "Miyahuna" and security agencies, these violations were removed, and the necessary records organized, while investigations continue in preparation to complete legal procedures and execute penalties against the offenders.
