His Majesty King Abdullah II met on Wednesday with political and media figures to discuss the most prominent local and regional and international developments.
In regional affairs, His Majesty reaffirmed that Jordan places its interests and the welfare of its citizens above all else, noting that the Kingdom is working towards restoring stability in the region.
Regarding developments related to Iran, His Majesty the King pointed out that Jordan hopes tensions can be reduced through peaceful means, emphasizing the Kingdom's supportive stance on diplomacy and dialogue.
His Majesty also discussed relations with Syria, affirming Jordan’s interest in Syria’s stability, and that the coordination continues between the institutions of the two countries to expand cooperation and exchange expertise in all fields.
His Majesty the King also emphasized the importance of ensuring the implementation of the agreement to end the war in Gaza at all its stages and to stop the Israeli escalation in the West Bank.
