Khaberni - The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, received on Wednesday, at his office at the General Command, the Turkish ambassador in Amman, Yaqoub Oglu, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Huneiti discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation in defense fields, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed his appreciation for the important and significant role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting security and peace in the region, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint cooperation to serve the interests of the armed forces in both countries.
The meeting was attended by the Turkish military attaché in Amman, and a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
