Khaberni - The Jordanian Motorsport confirmed the re-election of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, the chairman of the board for the Jordanian Motorsport, as a member of the Senate in the International Automobile Federation (FIA), during the proceedings of the federation's general assembly.
The authority stated in a post that this renewal reflects the confidence of the members of the International Automobile Federation in the role played by Prince Faisal in developing motorsport on both regional and international levels, as well as his contributions to supporting the principles of sound governance and enhancing the global presence of motorsport.
The Senate in the International Automobile Federation is a high governance body concerned with overseeing the federation's commitment to principles of integrity and transparency and providing strategic advice to the senior management, besides tracking the implementation of institutional regulations and policies, ensuring the sustainability of institutional work and enhancing governance.
