Khaberni - As part of its commitment to enhancing ongoing communication with its graduates and linking the academic educational outcomes with the job market requirements, the College of Information Technology held an interactive session where it hosted graduate Masa Ghanimat to talk about her professional experience and her success story after her graduation from Amman Arab University "Leadership and Excellence".
During the session, Ghanimat presented an overview of her academic journey since joining the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University, focusing on the pivotal role of her final project which helped develop her practical skills and build her professional character. She pointed out that the project marked a significant turning point in her career as it provided an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical context, contributing to the development of her analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork, in addition to enhancing her research and technical communication skills. Ghanimat also emphasized that the final project was not just an academic requirement but a comprehensive practical experience that directly contributed to her readiness to enter the job market, boosted her self-confidence, enabled her to understand the nature of technical challenges, and to handle them with efficiency and professionalism. At the end of the meeting, she directed motivational messages to the students, emphasizing the importance of seriously investing in the final project and considering it a cornerstone in building a professional future, affirming that graduates of the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University possess a solid scientific foundation and practical skills that qualify them for competition and excellence in the job market.
In this regard, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University, emphasized the importance of organizing such interactive sessions that bring students together with college alumni. These sessions play a pivotal role in motivating students and enhancing their academic and professional motivation, offering them the opportunity to learn about real success stories stemming from an educational environment similar to their university experience. He indicated that these meetings contribute to raising awareness about the importance of applied education and help students understand job market requirements and guide them towards optimal investment in their academic projects, especially final projects, which contributes to building successful professional pathways capable of keeping up with the rapid developments in the information technology sector.
