Khaberni - The young singer Jana, daughter of the Egyptian artist Amr Diab, is embarking on a new artistic experience in her singing career. She is introducing her first work in Arabic, following the success she achieved during the past period, through the song "Khaberni" with her father.
The poet Tamer Hussein revealed details of the new song through a post on his official Facebook account, explaining that it will be written by him, composed by Amr Mostafa, and arranged by Adel Haqqi, in an artistic collaboration that marks Jana's first song in the Egyptian dialect, after presenting works in English.
This step came after the notable success of the song "Khaberni", which brought Jana together with her father within his latest album "We Started", released last July, and which achieved millions of views, and topped listening charts on various digital music platforms.
Jana Amr Diab recently joined her father in a number of music concerts, where she went on stage to perform the song amidst a wide public interaction, including a wedding concert of his business manager Mohammad Shelbay, which was held at one of the hotels in Egypt with the presence of elite art stars.
During the concert, Amr Diab teased his daughter saying: "Jana's friends say she is the secret to your success this year," before inviting her to join him in performing "Khaberni", in a scene that gained widespread diffusion on social media.
Amr Diab released the video clip of "Khaberni", directed by Tarek Elarian, and it was entirely filmed in the North Coast area, where Jana appeared in the opening scenes before her father joined her in a joint performance.
In a related context, Jana Amr Diab held her first concert in the Arab world without her father’s participation, during an event organized by "Elle Arabia" magazine, where she presented her latest solo musical work "Cipriani", which she performs in English.
