Khaberni - Ahmed Gaddafi published the last voice message he received from his cousin Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, one day before his murder, in which he expressed his concern and annoyance about the foreign interventions in his country’s affairs, and attempts by foreign countries to manage its affairs.
In the message, Saif al-Gaddafi appeared reserved, annoyed, and displeased with the political and security situation in his country. His voice carried a clear tone of anger, criticizing the intervention of foreign parties in directing the events within Libya and controlling everything in the country, at the expense of the sacrifices, interests, and demands of the Libyans.
An investigation opens
Meanwhile, the circumstances of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi's killing remain unclear, amid the lack of official clarifications about what happened. Forces affiliated with the Government of National Unity denied any involvement, while his political team announced that the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, carried out by four masked gunmen who stormed his residence after turning off the surveillance cameras, and proceeded to execute the assassination.
The case still provokes widespread controversy in Libyan circles, amidst demands for an essential investigation to identify the party responsible for the assassination.
