Khaberni - Abdullah Usman, the representative of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, announced the latter's death under unclear circumstances, in a post on his Facebook page.
Libyan sources mentioned that Ajmi al-Atiri, Saif al-Islam's escort and the commander of the "Abu Bakr Al-Sadiq Brigade", was injured, while Ajmi's son was killed in clashes in the Al-Hamada area, clarifying that the party responsible for the attack is unknown, while the 444 Brigade denied any connection with the attack.
Additionally, Moussa Ibrahim, the former spokesman for Muammar Gaddafi's regime, mourned Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.
