Jordan The girl Malak died on her birthday and her mother reveals the reason

Khaberni - Malak's mother said that her daughter died due to a blockage in the respiratory tract caused by a blood clot, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. She had a long medical history and was 8 years old at the time of her death.

Some social media users falsely claimed that her death was due to a power outage.

On Tuesday, the mother added that her daughter's medical history began when she was two years old. She suffered from lung conditions and related complications, had a medical exemption, and her condition was being monitored regularly. Over six years, a heart net and plug were installed, a catheterization procedure was performed, and she had a 55 percent mobility impairment.

The mother elaborated, according to Petra, that her daughter died five days ago, on her birthday, while in her father's arms, pampered with everything she wanted, but it was God's will. She added that the electricity had been cut off two weeks before, had been restored by them, and no donations were collected to pay the bill; any claims otherwise are false.

She pointed out that the grief of her and her husband over their sick daughter did not shield them from some social media users who added to their sorrow with unfounded allegations about the girl’s death. They posted her pictures without permission, claiming that she died while on oxygen due to the power cut, which the mother denied. Moreover, claims of fundraising to restore power were not true, as the electricity was restored without any donations from any party.

The mother said: "We woke up one morning to suddenly find ourselves the talk of social media, which increased our grief, making us feel like we had neglected our daughter before her death, despite pampering her and providing everything she needed. But it was God’s will, as she had been sick for a long time, and we will not forgive those who exploited our daughter for likes and sharing pictures without our consent, falsely claiming donation gatherings, when we never reached out to anyone."

She explained that her husband works from morning till evening tirelessly, and she had stopped teaching to care for their daughter who had moved to God's mercy, as she needed constant care. Throughout these years, the family did not turn to charities or social media platforms to seek donations, but worked and earned their living to provide care for their children.
The mother concluded her statement: "Our dear daughter passed away, but those who violated our grief and increased it on social media will not be forgiven. It has been only five days since our daughter's death, yet they violated our privacy and spread lies, and did not respect the sanctity of the deceased girl, whom we try to protect alive and dead."

Shared accounts on social media had published information accompanied by pictures of the girl, falsely claiming that she died due to a power cut at their home while on an oxygen machine, which the mother denied, affirming that her daughter was sick and died by the decree of Almighty God.
The Jordanian Media Credibility Monitor reported last month (December), pointing out that 90 percent of the rumors that month originated from social media platforms, with a total of 86 false news out of 96 news monitored, averaging three false news per day.
