Khaberni - The Ministry of Education and the International Baccalaureate Organization signed the purchase contract for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program for King Abdullah II Schools of Excellence today, Tuesday.
The contract was signed by the Minister of Education, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, and the Regional Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada of the International Baccalaureate Organization, Haif Bannayan, in the presence of the Director of Education at the Ministry, Dr. Ahmad Al-Masafah, and the Senior Manager for Development and Recognition, Mary Tadrous.
Mahafzah emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the "International Baccalaureate", particularly in terms of providing opportunities for King Abdullah II Schools of Excellence to implement the International Baccalaureate Program, and increasing joint cooperation opportunities between private International Baccalaureate schools and public schools.
On his part, Bannayan confirmed the importance of joint cooperation between both sides in implementing the program, which supports the development of the education sector in Jordan.
The signing was attended by the President of the Association of International Baccalaureate Schools, Mirna Al-Jouzi, and Dina Khalaf and Kawthar Saadeldin from the International Baccalaureate.
