Khaberni - Iranian authorities announced the control of a huge fire that broke out on Tuesday in a market in west Tehran, without clarifying its causes.
Dense columns of black smoke were captured in the morning footage, rising into the sky and covering the surrounding area.
However, Tehran's emergency operations commander, Mohammed Behnia, confirmed that the fire "has so far resulted in no injuries".

The official television quoted the fire department as saying that the fire broke out in the Jannat Abad market in west Tehran, a neighborhood that houses many stalls and shops.
The spokesperson for the department, Jalal Maliki, said "the fire is so massive that it can be seen from various parts of Tehran".

Later, Maliki stated that "the fire has been controlled" and that "smoke removal and inspection operations" are ongoing, as reported by the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).
The official television reported that fire brigades were immediately sent to the site to control the flames.
