King inaugurates the military complex of medicine and oral and dental surgery

Khaberni  - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, inaugurated today, Tuesday, the military complex of medicine and oral and dental surgery affiliated with the Royal Medical Services Directorate in the Khilda area in Amman.

His Majesty listened, in the presence of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Huneiti, to a briefing presented by the Director General of the Royal Medical Services Brigadier General Dr. Suhail Al-Hamoudi, which reviewed the efforts to develop medical services and enhance the capabilities of qualified staff to provide high-quality healthcare.

During a tour of the complex, His Majesty listened to a briefing from the Director of the complex, Brigadier Dr. Mohammad Al-Khawaldeh, who indicated that the project consists of two buildings, one for the participants and beneficiaries of the Royal Medical Services and the other for treating civilians, adding that about 13,000 patients are expected to be received monthly, which will reduce the number of patients at the Hussein Medical City.

He added that the complex includes 61 clinics spread over 7 specialties in medicine and oral and dental surgery, two modern operating rooms, radiology departments, and specialized laboratories. It is equipped with the latest medical devices and equipment and utilizes artificial intelligence technologies in the planning and implementation of dental and facial fittings and includes a training and simulation building.

His Majesty praised the efforts of the Royal Medical Services staff, pointing to the importance of the humanitarian and medical services they provide.
