The Director of Public Security inaugurates the new City Security Center building and the Civil Defense administrative building

Khaberni   - The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Obeidallah Al-Maaytah, inaugurated today, Tuesday, the new building of the City Security Center affiliated with the Mafraq Governorate Police Directorate, and the new administrative building for the Mafraq Civil Defense Directorate, coinciding with the kingdom's celebrations of the 64th birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.

Major General Al-Maaytah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Majesty's pride in the sincere efforts made by the public security personnel in various work locations and specialties serving the nation and its citizens. 

The Director of Public Security affirmed that the inauguration of the buildings is in line with the visions and directions of the wise Hashemite leadership, aimed at developing the security and humanitarian work system, and enhancing coordination among the various units and formations, which contributes to raising the level of services provided to the citizens and residents of the kingdom according to the highest standards of efficiency.

Major General Al-Maaytah pointed out that the new City Security Center building in Mafraq Governorate was a response to the security and societal requirements in the area and enhances the speed of response to various reports and complaints, deepening the partnership with the local community and contributing to achieving comprehensive security, noting the importance of activating the role of local security councils in supporting security and community work which reflects good citizenship. 

He also explained that the opening of the new administrative building for the Mafraq Civil Defense Directorate aims to improve the work environment and enhance the institutional performance efficiency, stressing the Public Security Directorate's continued commitment to providing the Civil Defense with the latest specialized systems, equipment, and modern technology, ordering the implementation of a project to digitally transfer medical data (TELEMEDICINE), to include all ambulances operating in the Civil Defense. 

During the inauguration, Major General Al-Maaytah reviewed the facilities of both buildings, which were designed in accordance with the requirements of modern security work and approved public safety standards.
