Khaberni - The Land Transport Regulatory Commission issued a letter to the passenger transport companies using smart apps in Jordan (Careem, Uber, Petra Ride, Jeeny, and Taxi F) concerning the approved fare rate for passenger transportation services using smart applications.
The approved fare rate is the regular taxi fare plus a minimum of 20% of its value.
The Authority invited the companies to adhere to the set pricing, with the minimum pricing for the smart apps as follows:
Daytime fare:
Meter opening 45 piasters
Per kilometer rate 31.6 piasters
Waiting rate per minute 6 piasters
Nighttime fare:
Meter opening 46.2 piasters
Per kilometer rate 38.90 piasters
Waiting rate per minute 7 piasters
