Khaberni – The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the contacts with Iran are continuous and at the highest levels, aiming to prevent escalation and reduce tensions in the region.
He added that all parties are in communication to prevent any escalation, stressing the necessity of moving from a state of tension to a negotiating path concerning the Iranian dossier.
Regarding the Palestinian issue, the spokesperson emphasized the need to fully open the Rafah crossing for the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, and rejected the use of the crossing as a tool of pressure, considering that preventing the passage of thousands of medical cases through it constitutes a crime that must be stopped.
He clarified that international efforts continue to ensure the full opening of the crossing and secure the entry of aid, simultaneously warning of the dangers of a deterioration in the humanitarian situation in Gaza, given the inadequate entry of aid.
