Khaberni - The Drug Enforcement Administration at the Syrian Ministry of Interior conducted a series of precise operations in the southern regions, targeting a criminal network specialized in trading and smuggling drugs. These efforts resulted in the arrest of: "A.R", "J.R", "N.K", "M.R", and the seizure of a large quantity of drugs prepared for smuggling to Jordan, along with advanced smuggling tools.
The seizures included about 2,050,000 Captagon pills, and 605 packages of cannabis weighing 151 kilograms, in addition to 10 helium gas cylinders, 75 air balloons, 30 plastic mortar shells, a cannon used to launch these drug-laden shells, a drone, and communication devices.
All seized items were confiscated, and those arrested were referred to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal actions against them.
The Drug Enforcement Administration reiterates its determination to continue executing precise operations with firmness and high vigilance, to control drug networks in all their forms, to protect the community and the youth, to safeguard public security, and to demonstrate the administration’s capability to maintain control over drug networks and ensure the security and stability of the society.
