Khaberni - Since Monday evening until Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 30 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The Prisoners' Club explained that among the detainees are released prisoner Zahra Khadraj and her daughter Yaqeen, in addition to a woman from Qalandia camp arrested by the occupation as a hostage, alongside a number of released prisoners.
The arrests were spread across the provinces of Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.
It indicated that the occupation continues to escalate arrest operations and field investigations at an accelerated pace since the beginning of the current year, in an unprecedented manner after the genocide, targeting various segments of the Palestinian society in collective revenge operations.
It added that the occupation continues to target released male and female prisoners involved in exchange deals, with the latest being the re-arrest of released prisoner Zahra Khadraj from Qalqilya, in a systematic policy that constitutes a clear and fresh breach of the deal and a message to all released prisoners that they will remain targets of pursuit and harassment.
In a related context, the Prisoners' Club confirmed that women are systematically targeted through ongoing arrest campaigns, including hostage-taking, night raids, and harsh interrogation methods, in a serious escalation where the arrest of women is used as a tool for pressure and collective punishment.
It is noted that the occupation authorities continue to carry out daily arrest campaigns against Palestinians, which are among the most prominent constant and systematic policies, where the number of arrests in the West Bank has exceeded 21,000 cases since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
