Khaberni - Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Oman, and the UAE received invitations to participate in the American-Iranian talks at the level of foreign ministers in Istanbul on Friday, according to a report by a Reuters official.
A regional official stated on Tuesday that the priority of the talks between Iran and the United States this week in Istanbul is to avoid any conflict and reduce tensions between the two sides, adding that an invitation was also extended to a group of regional powers to participate.
The source clarified that the framework of the talks has not yet been clarified but the "main meeting" will be held on Friday, and that it is important to start the dialogue between the two sides to avoid further escalation.
