AlZaytoonah University of Jordan Participates in the National Conference on Comprehensive and Inclusive Community Development

Khaberni  - The Department of Physical Therapy at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan participated in the events of the National Conference on Comprehensive and Inclusive Community Development, by a gracious invitation from the Hussein Society/ Jordan Center for Comprehensive Inclusion and Training, in cooperation with the German Embassy and the CPM organization.

The conference included specialized dialogue sessions that discussed the most important government, medical, and environmental policies that support the inclusion of people with disabilities in society, ensuring their full autonomy and participation in community, economic, and political activities without any barriers.

This conference took place on the occasion of the conclusion of the Comprehensive and Inclusive Community Development Project (CBID), aiming to celebrate the most prominent achievements and outputs of the project, review the lessons learned and best practices followed, as well as highlight the joint efforts between partners and relevant parties. The conference also served as a national dialogue platform to explore ways to build on these results and enhance their sustainability at the national level.

The conference also saw the presence of a group of experts and facilitators from various related sectors. The participation of the Department of Physical Therapy reaffirmed the role of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in contributing both voluntarily and institutionally to support people with disabilities and promote concepts of comprehensive inclusion, serving to achieve sustainable development in the Jordanian community.
