The Central Bank of Jordan issues treasury bonds worth 2000 million dinars

Khaberni - The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, will issue, on Wednesday, the sixth issuance of the current year of treasury bonds worth 200 million dinars.

According to the bank data reviewed by "Al-Mamlaka", the maturity date for the current issue is February 5, 2036, while the bank indicated that the settlement date is February 5, 2026.

Treasury bonds are long-term financing tools with maturity periods ranging from two to twenty years, and vary between government/treasury bonds and bonds issued by companies.

Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging from 3 to 12 months, and are characterized as low-risk financial instruments that are traded in the financial markets for buying and selling.
