Khaberni - Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Maher Abu Al-Samn, discussed today, Monday, with a delegation from the Saudi Development Fund headed by Engineer Abdullah Al-Suhail, ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of grants provided by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support and implement developmental and service projects in Jordan across various sectors.
During the meeting, which was held at the minister's office and attended by the Acting Secretary-General for Technical Affairs at the Ministry, Engineer Waseem Al-Adwan, and the delegation members Bandar Al-Obeid, Mishal bin Ammar, and Khaled bin Fawaz, both parties reviewed a detailed presentation on the progress rates in project implementation.
Minister Abu Al-Samn affirmed the deep and longstanding fraternal relations between Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appreciating the vital role played by the Saudi Development Fund in supporting comprehensive development efforts in the Kingdom, through financing and implementing strategic projects that have contributed to improving infrastructure and raising the level of services provided to citizens.
On their part, the delegation from the Saudi Development Fund expressed their commitment to continuing cooperation and coordination with the relevant Jordanian authorities, in line with national development priorities, and enhancing the efficiency of implementing funded projects, affirming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the development journey in Jordan within the framework of the brotherly and historic relations that unite the two countries.
